Hayward Tyler awarded pump contract for ITER fusion venture

Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister firm Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million greenback contracts to help the ITER venture in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps while Energy Steel will provide 62 solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER venture is a joint international research and development challenge to reveal the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion energy. The demonstration facility is beneath development in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and will be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.
