Hush-hush has agreed to amass the German industrial pump producer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from non-public fairness agency Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen within the Allgäu region of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used primarily within the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for meals and beverage and cosmetics applications.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing amenities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a global sales and repair footprint. The firm employs 265 folks and had 2020 revenues of roughly €46.four million.
“Industrial pumps is a phase that we have identified as a strategic fit for Atlas Copco and Wangen Pumpen has main differentiated know-how with a strong aftermarket business,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique enterprise space. “Wangen Pumpen is a robust brand and is understood for quality in demanding industrial functions. This acquisition will create a strong foundation for additional progress in new industrial pump segments.”
The acquired enterprise will become a part of the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
The deal is expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2022 and is topic to regulatory approvals.
